IntroductionVisium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Manufacturing Engineer position located in South Dakota.. This position is a direct hire opportunity. Interested candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.Summary : This position is for an Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineer or similar engineering major with interests in microelectronic materials and development. Position requires the candidate to work closely with other engineers in the production and product support. Tasks may include design, develop and implement manufacturing systems, processes and tooling required to support plant production activities. The selected candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter willing to work closely with team members of various disciplines.Job Description : -Develops test, manufacturing and various assembly processes-Uses engineering tools and statistical concepts to maintain and improve processes-Investigates process problems and initiates corrective actions-Generation of production level documentation and procedures-Specifies and initiates purchase of manufacturing tools, equipment and supplies-Plans, specifies and justifies capital equipment expenditures -Lead product and / or process improvement teams-Assist in other engineering duties as wellQualified candidates would have the following : -Must have a Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Engineering.-Attention to detail, prior military preferred.-Good interpersonal and communication skills-Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license. ________________________________________________________________________________________________Visium Resources is an award-winning employment firm with a mission to match talented individuals with highly successful organizations.
