General Job Summary : Responsible for assembly / packing of sheet metal components of small or medium sized parts, fitting and / or adjustment of inter-related parts and / or assembly based on written specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job and Company requirements.-Following specific written instructions and / or blueprints, assembles components into finished product.
- Disassembles and re-builds products per specifications.-Conducts quality checks following quality process instructions.-Pack and labels product following packaging instructions.
- Ensures that the work area is clean, orderly, and safe.-Work in packaging as needed, including packing large assemblies or parts.
- Inspect parts for defects or damage prior to packing.-Make boxes, apply labels, verify counts, and follow packing instructions.
- Follow directions on packing from Packaging Lead.-Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager.
