What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager (Construction) position at Visscher Construction Inc.?
At Visscher Construction, we work on high-quality Residential homes as well as some Commercial work, start-to-finish. This includes interior and exterior projects, both new and remodel. We also focus on insurance mitigation and reconstruction projects.
We are looking to hire an additional project manager that will help to oversee construction projects. The right candidate will have a good work ethic, has great communication, above average problem-solving skills, can multi-task, and excels at closing out projects. In addition the candidate will need to have some construction experience, including a base knowledge on modern building and remodeling processes.
This is not a remote-eligible position and will require daily commute to the main office in Ludington, MI as well as occasional site visits within the surrounding area.
Work Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior construction experience
- Proficient in email, calendars, scheduling, and construction software
- Adhere to 5S organizational principles
- Assist with creating, revising, and following SOP's
- Participate in Continuous Improvement, including ongoing Suggestions
- Adaptable/Flexible - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to work as a Team
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Location: Ludington, MI
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation: Salary position, $55k-$75k, depending on experience. Production bonus opportunities
