Job Title : Data Warehouse Analyst
Location : Houston TX Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Duration : Long Term
Development and support of applications using Oracle PL / SQL and Unix and Informatica.
Required Skills
- 12 years of experience in application development
- 7 years of experience in Oracle 11g or higher
- 7 years of experience in Oracle PL / SQL development
- 5 years of experience in Unix / Linux shell script development
- 5 years of experience in a Data Warehouse environment
- 2 years of experience in a Collibra
Additional skills :
Python experience is not required but recommendedInformatica Power Center experienceExperience in a deregulated utilities business (in Texas is a plus)Oracle SQL developer or PL / SQL DeveloperPower BISAP knowledge / experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills are required in order interact with the business team SME production support lead and other team members.Flexibility dedication and teamspirit is a mustEssential Duties / Responsibilities :
Documentation of existing functionality and business rules.Assist with providing production support of the Informatica applications.Monitoring of batch processes.Willingness to perform this off hours also during weekdays and weekends.Troubleshoot and address job failures as soon as possible.Work with ControlM offshore group on rerun / restart instructions of failed jobs.Willingness to perform this off hours during weekdays and weekends.Assist with additional PL / SQL development.Create and / or support Informatica workflows.Willingness and cooperation in working in a fastpaced environment.Work effectively in a team environment.Develop strong working relationship with the business team and individuals at all levels of client such as other IT groups Operations and Project Management team.Communicate status and escalate issues as early in the process as possible.Use analytics skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.Ability to switch between multiple tasks and work them in parallel.Willingness to take responsibility for the tasks that are assignedKey Skills
