Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/Engineer Developer to provide ongoing maintenance and support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) applications, including Document AI (DOC AI). DOC AI is a Google Cloud product used to scan and extract index information from marriage licenses, storing the data in FileNet and an on-premises application. This role is essential for ensuring system stability, functionality enhancements, and compliance with industry standards while securing applications and maintaining data integrity.

As a Technical Lead, you will guide and mentor developers, oversee system improvements, and play a key role in integrating, maintaining, and enhancing mission-critical applications. Without this resource, manual data entry errors, data integrity issues, and incorrect information processing could become a risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot GCP applications, including DOC AI for scanning and indexing documents.
• Collaborate with IT teams and manufacturers to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Implement preventative maintenance and ensure optimal system performance.
• Serve as the technical lead, mentoring developers and enforcing best practices.
• Enhance system functionality, stability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Work with leadership to optimize processes, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance, system updates, and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), or C .
• 5 years of experience in microservices architecture.
• 5 years of experience with RESTful APIs and webhooks.
• 5 years of experience in cloud computing and software development.
• 5 years of experience designing, building, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions.
• 5 years of experience with Angular/React JS, JavaScript frameworks.
• 5 years of experience with OCR tools like Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.
• 5 years of experience with NLP tools like SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• 5 years implementing AI/ML solutions, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• 5 years of experience programming in a JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment, including JBOSS Workflow.
• 5 years of experience implementing agile development methodologies, including test-driven development (TDD).
• 5 years of experience using CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices.
• 3 years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in data processing and analysis using SQL, R, and Pandas.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, computer vision, and neural networks.
• Experience working with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques.
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud AI services, including AWS, Google Cloud AI, and Azure AI.
• Strong debugging, performance monitoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of conversational AI, chatbot development, and Google Dialogflow ES or CX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle, Data Bricks, Elastic, or ELK.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Firestore.
• Experience in designing effective conversational flows and user experiences.
• Background in technical documentation and reporting.
