We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a background in laboratory services, preferably with expertise in skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and long-term care settings. This role is vital in fostering strong client relationships, assisting with onboarding, ensuring seamless communication, and driving engagement through training, marketing, and events. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management & Onboarding:
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Guide new accounts through the onboarding process, including training on internal systems and procedures.
- Develop and implement customized training tools to ensure account staff are proficient in ordering, specimen collection, and utilizing the online portal.
- Troubleshoot account issues and work closely with internal teams to resolve them.
Relationship Building & Communication:
- Regularly engage with accounts through on-site visits, calls, emails and virtual meetings to maintain strong relationships.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Educate clients on new tests, services, and procedural updates.
- Monitor client satisfaction and provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
Marketing & Events:
- Assist with planning and executing marketing initiatives
- Coordinate and attend industry events, trade shows, and community outreach programs to promote services.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and training documents.
- Collaborate with leadership to strategize on business development opportunities.
Training & Development:
- Conduct training sessions (on-site and virtual) for new and existing accounts on laboratory services, online portals, and compliance procedures.
- Create and update instructional guides and resources tailored to client needs.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure training materials remain current.
Support to Management:
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide input on process improvements to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Support courier and field teams by ensuring compliance with brand presentation, supply management, and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in account management, client relations, or business development within the healthcare or laboratory industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of laboratory operations, diagnostic testing, and the needs of skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and long-term care facilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR softwares, Microsoft Office Suite, and laboratory ordering systems (LIS).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; able to present information clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve client concerns with professionalism.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally for client visits, events, and meetings.
