Part-Time Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a Part-Time Procurement Specialist to support our supply and purchasing operations, ensuring that our laboratory remains fully stocked with essential materials and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in ordering and tracking laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes and place orders.
- Monitor inventory levels
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries.
- Ensure all supplies meet laboratory standards and compliance requirements.
- Support the procurement manager with administrative tasks, including data entry and documentation.
- Help resolve supply issues, such as backorders or delayed shipments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Prior experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
