Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor and Delivery Nurse located in Waukegan, IL. The Labor and Delivery Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Typical duties include monitoring fetal development, administering medications, assisting with deliveries, educating patients about childbirth options and postpartum care, and collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Labor and Delivery Nursing, Labor and Delivery, and Nursing skills
- Medicine knowledge and Critical Thinking abilities
- Current RN license and BLS/ACLS certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Prior experience in labor and delivery is preferred
- BSN degree is advantageous
Salary : $35 - $55
