Manager of Security

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the security department, ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, assets, and facilities. This includes managing security staff, implementing security protocols, coordinating emergency response efforts, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing security technology systems. The Security Manager plays a key role in creating and maintaining a secure environment by providing leadership and ensuring operational efficiency in the security function.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily security operations to ensure a secure and safe environment for all personnel and visitors.
• Monitor and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across all levels of the organization.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve security programs and protocols, including access control, surveillance, and incident reporting systems.
• Ensure proper coverage of security staff across all shifts and facilities, including coordinating schedules and overseeing the allocation of resources.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of security officers, guards, and other personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in managing security personnel, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security programs.
