Medical Assistant - Fast-Paced Environment

Vista Healthcare is looking for an out-going, organized and efficient Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to join our staff. We are a fast-paced primary care clinic with 4 providers. We are searching for a candidate to fill part-time or fulltime employment. Compensation will be determined based on education and skill level. We prefer an individual who is planning on staying in the Rexburg area for at least one year. CMA/CNA responsibilities:

· Works directly with the providers.

· Supports providers by assisting with examinations, procedures and taking lab specimens.

· Administers injections and phlebotomy.

· Educates patients on medications and answering questions.

· Completes Prior authorization for procedures and medications.

· Documents clinical data in patient chart.

· Keeps treatment rooms stocked with equipment.

· Cleans equipment and sterilizes equipment for future use.

· Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.

CMA/CNA requirements:

· Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (1 year experience preferred)

· Phlebotomy (Preferred)

· EMR systems(Preferred)

· Friendly and out-going

· Quick learner

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
