DescriptionTASKS OF THE POSITION
- Develop and write general letters, letters of inquiry, letters of support, grant proposals, budget narrative and justifications, and compliance reports that effectively communicate the agency's mission and needs.
- Identify strong industry-relevant data / research to demonstrate the need for the agency's services.
- Maintain a "Grants Calendar" that details deadlines, notes, and any relevant communication with funders that is accessible to all fund development team members for reference.
- Gather relevant statistics, impact evaluation data, and performance indicators to report to funder.
- With the Manager Grants and Compliance, establish a "Program Description / Content Library".
- Assist with campus tours, led by Manager, Grants and Compliance.
- Work cooperatively, and in collaboration, with other departments.
- Meet all assigned deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy, and brand fidelity.
- Demonstrate personal integrity and professional demeanor in accordance with the ethics of the agency.
- Stay informed of current practice developments within the profession, and use educational and training opportunities to ensure continual professional competence.
