What are the responsibilities and job description for the JJ Placement Coordinator position at VISTA MARIA?
• Review all Change in Placement/Services Forms and Referral Packets for completion.
• Assessing all youth for the most appropriate treatment/placement and communicating with the providers.
• Staying updated on all new provider intervention programs.
• Completing referrals on all youth to providers and maintaining a positive customer relationship with providers.
• Working with the Financial Analyst-Billing & Claims to ensure financial accuracy of all referrals and placement documentation.
• Reviewing all referral and placement documentation to ensure accuracy of dates and implementation.
• Maintaining accurate and complete records on all referrals and placement documentation.
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Knowledge of gate-keeping referrals, payments and working with a group of providers.
• Good internal and external customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of gender-specific treatment options.
