What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Appreciation Coordinator-Part Time position at VISTA MARIA?
TASKS OF THE POSITION
• Plans and organizes work to meet all job requirements according to agency and COA standards,
licensing, regulatory requirements, and federal and state laws.
• Regularly prepares for and participates in department and Agency meetings.
• Works collectively with the Charism Committee liaison to support monthly Charism Committee
activities in any capacity necessary.
• Coordinates planning monthly staff appreciation events as designated by plan for each department,
employee, etc.
• Coordinates with the Director of Human Resources to ensure monthly spot awards are presented
and distributed in a timely manner.
• Creates and maintains annual calendar of monthly appreciation awards based on mission driven
performance and delivery of required objectives.
• Facilitates ordering of supplies and food delivery for monthly scheduled events.
• Facilitates event set up, provides timely request for Facility Department support as necessary and
ensures proper table set up for each activity as designed.
• Facilitates shopping for event supplies and decorations as necessary.
• Assists Charism liaison with event shopping as necessary.
• Monitors monthly staff appreciation budget and ensures proper documentation and receipt
collection to ensure proper maintenance of the budgetary allowance on a monthly basis.
• Research and coordinates food truck events for campus wide staff appreciation events as
designed.
• Supports the Executive Leadership Team in any employee engagement events as necessary.
• Participates with the “Living the Values” team to implement monthly Vista Maria Recognition for
Staff of the Month.
• Works collectively with the Compensation and Benefits Specialist to support the annual Wellness
Fair and ensures staff appreciation support is present.
• Assists with handling event vendor issues, documenting and following up to obtain resolution as
necessary.
• Coordinates completion of all anniversary service awards and recognition certificates on a monthly
basis.
• Uses employee information system to extract data and information for coordinating and reporting
purposes as needed.
• Perform all other Human Resource or organizational duties as assigned.
• Maintains the highest levels of confidentiality/sensitivity to Human Resource related matters and
information.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Ability to use Microsoft products, including PPT, experience with a HRIS database
• Excellent communication and organization skills
