How you will make an impact:
Vista Prairie Communities is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to use your skills and play a crucial role in the well-being of our residents. Working within the framework of Vista Prairie Communities’ values of Caring, Respect, Collaboration, Innovation and Stewardship, the role of the Regional Director of Operations provides leadership and guidance to ensure that the organization has the appropriate operational controls and processes in place to fulfill the mission of VPC. As a key member of the leadership team, the Regional Director of Operations is responsible for improving the performance of the VPC communities through the effective implementation of high-quality operations programs, processes, policies, and procedures. Some of your key accountabilities will include: providing direction and oversight of operations for identified territory, onboarding new acquisitions and developments, functional leadership, and Aspire Lifestyle Model Integration. Together we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
Schedule: This is a Full-time Salaried position, M-F business hours.
What you will need:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in business, geriatrics, health care/nursing, or a related field and a minimum of least five years of management in the senior living industry; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficient in Technology, including TEAMS, Electronic Health Records, Customer Relations Management software, Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly master new software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data from a variety of sources and to apply reason, logic and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
- Strong financial understanding.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and to make independent decisions as appropriate.
- Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize, organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong customer orientation to older adults.
- Compliance with state licensing requirements.
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, may office out of home and the Support Office.
- Position requires a current driver’s license and access to vehicle for travel.
- Ability to travel and stay overnight away from home.
