General Description
As a Host/Hostess, you play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless dining experience for our guests. From the moment they arrive to the moment they leave, you ensure every interaction is filled with magic and exceptional service.
Work Duties
- Answer phone in a timely and appropriate manner
- Prepare and maintain Host/Hostess area for guest arrival
- Properly and efficiently utilize the restaurant reservation, seating and paging systems
- Politely greet all guests in a timely fashion
- Lead guests to the table and seat guests in an appropriate fashion
- Politely inform guests of wait times and prepare wait lists as necessary
- Answer any guest questions as necessary
- Offer all guests a fond farewell
- Have basic knowledge of acceptable forms of payment and the Disney Dining Plan
- Perform work duties in compliance with all Company guidelines and policies
- Display proper food safety procedures at all times
- Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol
- Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork
- Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
- All other tasks as assigned
