They are seeking an exceptional Internal Medicine/Preventative Medicine Physician to serve as the Program Director for its Residency Program.
This permanent, full-time position offers several highlights:
- It involves a mix of 70% teaching and administration, and 30% clinical work as a hospitalist.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday.
Duties of the Position:
- Serve as the Program Director for a 4-year combined Internal and Preventative Medicine Residency program and 2-year Advanced Preventative Medicine Residency program.
- Evaluate and ensure continuing accreditation of the program by understanding and complying with the (ACGME).
- Act as Principal Investigator for the HRSA Preventative Medicine Grant.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in clinical education and leadership.
- An active Connecticut license or ability to obtain one.
- A valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
