About the Opportunity
VISTA Staffing Solutions is partnering with a community hospital in southwest Connecticut to recruit an experienced Internal Medicine/Preventative Medicine Physician to lead its Residency Program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical education and leadership, with a proven track record of success in managing complex programs. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique blend of teaching, administration, and clinical work.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Serving as the Program Director for a 4-year combined Internal and Preventative Medicine Residency program and 2-year Advanced Preventative Medicine Residency program.
- Overseeing the continuing accreditation of the program by understanding and complying with ACGME standards.
- Serving as Principal Investigator for the HRSA Preventative Medicine Grant.
The successful candidate will be affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine and will work closely with hospital administrators and faculty members to ensure the success of the Residency Program.
Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in clinical education and leadership.
- An active Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one.
- A valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
