What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst II position at VISTA Technology Services?
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support our DISA Cyber customer in Ft. Meade, MD. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Support planning and programming, cost estimating, financial management and execution
- Assist with POM data collection and preparing funding packages
- Conduct financial analysis
- Prepare draft Milestone Status Reports, financial status reports, White Papers, and presentations for colleagues and end-user representatives
- Track and monitor tasks and action items
- Collect input to update and reviews financial documentation including Financial Management Reviews (FMRs)
- Analyze trends or deviations from standards or forecast figures and identifies causes and risks
- Prepare draft Milestone Status Reports, financial status reports, White Papers, and presentations for colleagues and end user representatives
- Develop some non-standard report or statements to capture existing accounting information
- Prepare presentation templates and tailor for customer needs
- Work independently and with finance and budget team and effectively communicates with cross functional teams
- Detail-oriented and able to assess issues and develop resolutions to meet project/program goals and objectives.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, etc.) OR High School Diploma AND 7 years of DoD/federal financial and/or budget experience
- 5 years of DoD/federal financial and/or budget experience
- Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using DAI and CORAS
- Experience w/PowerBI
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
