VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to support a Green Energy Infrastructure construction project located in Kabwe, Zambia. This position is contingent on contract award.
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for project oversight to include conducting project status meetings, tracking deliverables, accounting for construction materials and equipment, staying within project budget and promoting an accident prevention workplace.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee construction planning, execution, coordination and project management including security, safety and occupational health, quality control, project schedule and milestones, construction submittals, material tracking and procurement, compliance and closeout operations
- Communicate directly with Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to ensure SOW is met and task order is successfully completed
- Ensure compliance with project plan submittals including Construction Accident Prevention Plan (CAPP), Quality Control Plan (QCP), Safety Plan, Risk Mitigation Plan, Inspection & Testing Plan
- Management of project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables
- Draft and / or review project submittals, budgets, Independent Cost Estimates
- Meet with and build strong working relationships with Site Supervisor and construction team to ensure and evaluate quality of workmanship, safety, environmental concerns and identify and mitigate risks
- Observe work to provide accurate reporting and assure customer is receiving specified outcome
- Create, maintain, and present project briefings and presentations
