Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to provide excellent guest services. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies.
Duties
- Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, including water quality checks.
- Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
- Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to maintain certifications and improve skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; candidates must be willing to obtain these certifications if not already certified.
- Strong swimming abilities and knowledge of water safety practices are essential.
- Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment or supplies.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
