A skilled SSIS ETL Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). This role involves working with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, transform complex data sets, and support enterprise-level data pipelines and reporting systems.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, ensuring data is extracted, transformed, and loaded efficiently into target systems.
Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to gather and understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Optimise existing ETL workflows for performance and reliability.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
Support and enhance data warehousing and reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and data issues in a timely manner.
5 years of hands-on experience in ETL development using SSIS.
Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including stored procedures, views, functions, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019 or later.
Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., SQL Server Agent).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
