What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Intern and Co-Op Openings position at Visterra?
Visterra hires talented students into Co-Ops and Internships throughout the calendar year across multiple departments, including Research, Clinical Development, Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology and other corporate functions like Finance or Human Resources. These are amazing opportunities for students to learn and make potentially significant contributions to a vibrant biotech company. Below are the types of openings available:
Summer Internships
These positions are typically posted early in the calendar year, by February, and are 40 hours per week. Most summer internships begin in May or early June and run through middle/late August.
Co-Ops
Co-Op positions are full time, 40 hours per week that last close to 6 months, and we hire 4-6 Co-Ops each cycle:
- Positions posted in February for a July – December Co-Op
- Positions posted in September for a January – June Co-Op.
Postdoctoral Research Fellowships
We will open up these 18 month long positions as needed.
