- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others, including clients, caregivers
- NO Experience needed - Willingness to learn new skills
- Eagerness to provide quality care with compassion
- Ability to act in a professional, dependable and compassionate manner
- Ability to provide assistance for elderly clients in their homes with kindness
- Attending to their needs with ability to follow individualized care plan.
- Remind clients of daily tasks and assist- drinking, eating, medication reminders
- Assist with mobility around their home- helping and ensure safe moves throughout their homes
- Assist with personal care and hygiene - assist in sponge bathing, showers
- Assist with meal preparation- Assist in meals
- Occasional transportation - examples Dr. Appts, Daily Errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties- sweeping, light laundry, linen changes, dishes after meals
- Excellent communications skills - with clients and office staff
