Vistra is searching for a SharePoint Developer to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Joint Operations Center (JOC) and Special Programs. The primary objective is to ensure operational readiness and enhance mission effectiveness through the optimization of existing mission critical systems. Working within a dynamic environment focused on Global Cyberspace Operations missions, you will be part of a team for providing professional services aimed at enabling situational awareness, collaboration, coordination, and Command and Control (C2) capabilities.
Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint-based solutions to meet the organization's collaboration, document management, and business process automation needs. Leveraging your expertise in SharePoint technologies, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design SharePoint-based solutions tailored to meet business needs, including custom workflows, forms, lists, libraries, and web parts.
- Develop and customize SharePoint sites, pages, and applications using out-of-the-box features, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx), as well as client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS.
- Customize SharePoint sites and applications using tools such as InfoPath, Power Apps, and Power Automate (formerly Flow) to automate business processes, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency.
- Integrate SharePoint with other systems and platforms, such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and third-party applications, to facilitate seamless data exchange and collaboration.
- Plan and execute SharePoint migration projects, including content migration from legacy systems to SharePoint Online or SharePoint Server, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Perform SharePoint administrative tasks, including user management, permissions management, site collection management, and troubleshooting issues related to performance, security, and functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals, to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Provide training and support to end users on SharePoint functionality, best practices, and usage guidelines to promote adoption and maximize the benefits of SharePoint solutions.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of SharePoint solutions, identifying and addressing any issues or bugs as needed.
- Stay informed about the latest SharePoint features, updates, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the SharePoint environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Security Clearance: TS/SCI/CI Poly
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience: No experience required.
Desired:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a SharePoint Developer to include:
- Providing technical assistance for analyzing user needs, translating them into requirements, and developing associated SharePoint solutions.
- Designing and developing web parts integrating applications, workflows, page templates, and web services with minimal guidance.
- Creating connections to systems allowing the display of dashboards using components such as Structured Query Language (SQL) Reporting Service, etc., with minimal guidance.
