Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Provide technical assistance to maintenance for equipment and personnel scheduling to ensure maximum availability, utilization, and availability to support mine operations.
- Utilize available resources to maintain accurate, detailed, and acceptable records of equipment and components to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
- Order materials and equipment as required under normal and/or emergency conditions to meet the needs of a mining site.
- Coordinate the shipping, repair and return of mine equipment and parts to meet production requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Interface with maintenance staff, mine site operations groups, other Vistra personnel, and vendors/contractors to ensure consistent, practical, and effective maintenance support.
- Participate in special projects and committee assignments as requested
Education, Experience & Skill Requirements
- High School education or GED equivalent
- REQUIRED: Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
- 1-3 years of power or industrial plant mechanical maintenance experience preferred
