Job Title: Engineering Support Specialist
Job Summary
Work as part of a team to provide engineering support ensuring reliability, availability, efficiency, and functionality of all equipment, processes and projects.Key Accountabilities
- Interface with engineering staff, operations & maintenance groups, and other personnel to ensure consistent, practical, and effective engineering solutions.
- Participate in the EIT Program rotating through different areas of the plant to gain knowledge of safety, operations, maintenance, instrumentation & control, reliability, and chemical / environmental departments.
- Assign various engineering projects and maintain up-to-date records.
- Adhere to safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Possess ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident; not sponsored through OPT or CPT programs.
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year institution pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree in one of our desired engineering disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD or similar systems.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Official transcripts must be received from school prior to start date.
- Maintain good academic standing with school.
