Job Summary
Vistra offers a dynamic internship program, targeted at challenging and developing each candidate. This position is responsible for supporting the Large Business Operations function within the Retail organization with day-to-day operational and analytical needs and automating manual processes where necessary. The intern job function has a responsibility for analyzing, modeling and developing improvements to business processes by conducting comprehensive reviews of various operational processes and metrics. As part of the review, the intern will identify gaps / issues occurring within various systems, processes, and develop solutions to mitigate risks and deliver an improved customer experience.
Job Description
- Participate and contribute to meetings with business process owners, including management members, to gain an understanding of business processes
- Develop a consolidated dynamic cost to serve model for Large Business Operations
- Deliver key insights by uncovering root causes for trends in errors and gaps in processes with the quoting, contracting, and billing processes
- Analyze data impact of trends and opportunities and recommend technology and / or manual process changes to improve the effectiveness of processes and increase efficiencies
- Partner with cross functional teams to build and further improve relevant business performance
- Organize and automate data across multiple platforms
- Additional projects may be assigned based on the skill and experience level of the intern
