Visu-Sewer is a national organization which serves the underground construction and utility community in the Mid-West and beyond. Visu-Sewer uses the latest inspection technology for the assessment of sewer pipes. Purpose/General Summary: Our Leadership Training program is designed to give you an immersive leadership experience at one of our 6 locations. This program includes hands-on rotations throughout all the location’s business segments. It is designed to give you real-world leadership experience, along with a thorough understanding of how each division functions to support the overall production strategy. Responsibilities:
- Rotations: You will spend 16 months learning and working in every sector of your location. These rotations are designed to give you hands-on knowledge of what positions, equipment, and materials are involved in each specific production process.
- Will provide support and hands on involvement to the operations team
- May work on either or both the lining or service side of the business.
- Ensure safe and efficient operations of the team. Maintain the production practices that support the quality required to meet our customers’ expectations.
- Create an environment where all are expected to be active members of the team. Recognize and celebrate successes. Challenge people to be better than they thought possible.
- Create relationships with hourly team members.
- Shadow production supervisors and learn their day-to-day operation.s
- Anticipate and determine causes of delays in operations and take appropriate actions to meet production schedules.
- Complete a challenging project that aligns with key performance indicators (KPI’s) and impacts our bottom line.
- Participate in group-based Leadership Development Training sessions at our corporate headquarters in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
- Final Placement: the last 4 months of the program will provide hands-on training in an area of interest with the intention of final placement into a leadership role.
What You Bring (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent
- Alignment with Visu-Sewer core values and culture
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends
- Flexibility to relocate
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Medical, and Dental coverage begin on the 90th day of employment;
- Paid Time Off: vacation, and 7 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match and profit sharing begin after the first year of service
- Base salary range of $60,000-65,000 Relocation assistance available if applicable
