Senior Industrial Design Engineer - Supervisor:

Visual Citi, the leader in signage and display visual needs solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Design Engineer - Supervisor to join the team. The ideal candidate will oversee the engineering and technical design of industrial engineering, generally optimizing complex processes and systems to minimize waste and managing communication and coordination among different types of engineers working on projects. Responsibilities:

·      Collaborate with the Design team on the creation and construction of structural display designs.

·      Provide technical support to the Production team for assigned projects.

·      Analyze and develop construction methods for displays, fixtures, and custom products to meet structural and budgetary requirements.

·      Create accurate mechanical drawings for projects on a timely basis.

·      Oversee the engineering design team, focusing on injection molding, wood, sheet metal, and acrylic fabrication.

·      Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

·      Lead research and development projects to develop new designs, products, and processes.

·      Review and validate the technical accuracy of the team's work.

·      Coordinate project efforts across teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with company goals.

·      Address issues between stakeholders promptly to maintain team cohesion and project flow.

Qualifications:

·      BA/BS degree with 5 years of experience in display design or a related field.

·      Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and develop practical solutions.

·      Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering tools.

·      Proven experience communicating project updates across broad teams, with an emphasis on transparency and cross-functional collaboration.

·      Experience in developing and streamlining processes to improve efficiency and scalability.

·      Ability to foster a positive team spirit in line with company values.

·      Demonstrated experience in taking projects from concept through design, development, and execution.
