In this role, you will work with trained professionals learning the techniques and standard processes of working in a professional environment. You will learn the importance of being a clear communicator who fosters improvements of every aspect of artist life and efficiency and can act on these ideas.What You Will Do : Work with the art and engineering departments to understand project requirementsPrioritize and develop procedural assets to streamline art processes, workflows, and pipelinesShape our in-house tools to fulfill the latest requirements and suggestionsProactively research and prototype new techniques to improve efficiency of content productionWho Will Be A Great Fit : College level training in 2D Art programsStrong Python scripting experienceComfortable with Maya Tools and broad Maya experienceCharacter rigging experience in Maya,Familiarity with Perforce and P4Python APIStrong interest and ability to learn new processes and techniquesProven ability to work well within a team environmentExcellent time management skills and ability to multitaskNice To Have : Familiarity with Shotgun and its Toolkit APIExperience writing Maya pluginsAlong with your application, please submit a portfolio or demo reel of professional or personal work samples, demonstrating successful understanding and application of industry standard practices.The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be $17.50 per hour. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and / or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
