Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eyewear services to our patients. This position involves assisting customers in selecting eyewear, fitting lenses, and ensuring the highest standards of optical care are met.
Duties
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide accurate measurements for lenses and ensure proper fitting of glasses.
- Interpret and verify prescriptions from optometrists.
- Maintain knowledge of various lens types, coatings, and frame styles to offer informed recommendations.
- Manage inventory of eyewear products and ensure the display is well-organized and appealing.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss patient needs and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient care.
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage, including contact lenses if applicable.
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales or collaboration sales is a plus.
- Outgoing personality and positive attitude is a must.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing excellent customer service.
