Visual Soft has an opening for a Network and Telecommunication Support Engineer with experience on our sub-contract with a large Prime in support of our team efforts for DoD Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
TITLE : Network Administrator- Senior - Active TOP SECRET
Location : Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD - FULLY ONSITE
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide network administration and operational support for classified network infrastructure. Recommend solutions for new equipment, software, network configuration, design, and management to include the detail, specification, hardware components, and part numbers. Provide technical support for the operations of a fiber optic and twisted pair based network infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of the Network
- Expansion, Modification, Integration and Redundancy of the Network
- Diagnostics and Testing of Network using software / hardware tool suites
- Firewall policy Management
- HAIPE Inline Network Encryption (Taclane) management
- Traffic Analysis : NetFlow, SNMPv3 traps, syslog, wireshark, etc.
- Network problem Analysis, diagnosis and resolution
- Assist with security Audits
