…we are looking for a Director of Sales Operations!
The Director of Sales Operations is the principal coordinator of the Strategic Accounts Club and Operations/Supply Chain business plans. They will oversee the business process through various reporting sources, while supporting the sales team with operational updates. They will deliver sales approaches to achieve profitability and revenue goals, support account management with key customers, and translate supply chain updates into winning customer plans. Finally, this individual must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, embrace change, and lead challenging discussions around a complex supply chain. The Director of Sales Operations will report into the VP of Strategic Accounts. The role is based out of New York, NY.
Main Responsibilities:
• Work with the Direct Sales leadership team to align on specific customer plans and actions, and cascade objectives and timing to responsible cross functional teams
• Work closely with the Operations and Supply Chain team members to map and understand the end-to-end supply chain complexities as it relates to the Club Sales team objectives
• Support the sales team as the operations lead in key retailer meetings
• Track strategic account plans with various reporting and analytical metrics
• Understand forecasting accountability for everyday business as well as innovation opportunities
• Implement processes that can streamline sales and eliminate inefficiencies
• Produce high quality business analysis to support decision making process with sales team
Qualifications:
• Years of experience: 8-10 years of experience in relevant industry and categories
• Sales / Operations / Supply Chain Background Preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret data and develop recommendations based on business initiatives and strategy
• Strong project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Must be able to communicate effectively and create, manage and maintain solid relationships with internal and external partners including Club retailer leadership
• Demonstrates a high aptitude for analytics, organization, and process development
• Ability to work collaboratively across various departments
• Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in sales operations
At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $100,000-$120,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
