We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Assistant Guides. In this role, you will support our Classroom Guides in creating an engaging, nurturing environment where students can explore their interests and develop essential life skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support Student-Led Learning: Assist Classroom Guides in facilitating student-driven exploration and helping students progress at their own pace.
- Collaborate on Learning Experiences: Work with Classroom Guides to develop and implement hands-on lessons and projects that align with our educational philosophy.
- Provide Individualized Assistance: Offer one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help or encouragement.
- Maintain a Positive Environment: Help foster a respectful and responsible classroom culture that promotes a love of learning.
- Engage with Families: Assist in maintaining open communication with families, keeping them informed about their child’s progress.
- Participate in Professional Development: Engage in opportunities for professional growth to stay informed about best practices in education.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience or educational equivalent.
- Passion for Education: A strong commitment to supporting students' unique potential and fostering a student-centered learning environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to support a dynamic, evolving educational environment with flexibility and creativity.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Creativity: A creative approach to supporting the development of engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
