Vita Senior Living is a new community located in New Whiteland IN and is managed by Comfort Health Management, LLC. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Life Enrichment Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and meaningful activity programs for our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a calendar of engaging and meaningful activities for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to participate in activities that meet their individual needs and preferences
- Plan and lead group activities, including exercise classes, educational workshops, and social events
- Assist with the development of individualized activity plans for residents with special needs or cognitive impairments
- Organize outings and events for residents, such as trips to local attractions or community events
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and progress
- Assist with the planning and implementation of special events and holiday celebrations
- Attend and participate in team meetings and trainings
Requirements:
- Preferred bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field or an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Must have satisfactorily completed or will complete within one year an Activities Director Course Approved by the Division
- 2 years of experience working with seniors in an activity planning or coordination role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the needs of a diverse population
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

Salary: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
