Job Overview:
The Operations Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high levels of productivity, accuracy, safety and collaborating with Quality department for "FAT". This role involves managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and collaborating with other departments to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure all inventory records are accurate and updated, conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company safety protocols and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and manage warehouse equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are well-maintained.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse productivity and success.
- Manage warehouse budgets, including cost control measures and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with head of Quality department to ensure quality products.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse software.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods as needed.
- Ability to drive a forklift
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
