Job Summary :

The Accounting Manager maintains the accounting records and directs the development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of cost, budgets, trends, and increased revenue opportunities for Vital Care Infusion Services, LLC.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Manages and oversees general accounting, budgeting, non-patient receivables, daily cash management, capital asset management, and financial reporting and analysis.

Review system processes to identify performance improvement initiatives and internal control weaknesses.

Manages and / or oversees the annual audit and tax return preparations with external firms.

Manages or oversees financial accounting functions to ensure accurate recording and reporting of all financial and clinical financial information.

Ensures the timely payment of current liabilities to franchises, proper recording, and control of cash receipts, recording of fixed assets, and development of adequate procedures, instructions, controls, records, and reports.

Develop and supervise an internal audit program to ensure internal financial controls are regularly tested and described.

Assist with developing and implementing annual administrative budgets and financial policies.

Maintains strict confidentiality.

Attends meetings with management and department staff to review and discuss financial matters as needed.

Assists with accounting setup, concerns, and questions posed by franchise locations.

Directs, forecasts, and analyzes special projects, e.g., proposed facilities, and equipment purchases.

Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.

Maintain fundamental attributes including strong communication and listening skills, exceptional analytical skills, financial acumen, a thorough approach to the issues, managing metrics, decision-making ability, and a high motivation towards the success of Vital Care Infusion Services, LLC.

Follows and abides by all company policies and procedures.

Required Skills / Abilities :

Ability to use computer equipment and learn new software applications.

Education and Experience :

A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting is required.

Requires five years' experience in finance or accounting with demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
