What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Vital Care Services?
Vital Care Services is hiring for Registered Nurses to provide in-home healthcare services!
Current client needs and location: Total care, wheelchair-bound 8 year old boy needs help with g-tube feedings, meds and ADLs. Greensboro, Georgia, Afternoon/Evening Shift Hours. Shift options:
A) 8 hour shift every Thursday 4p- midnight.
or
B) 4 hour shift every Tues AND Thurs 4p-8p.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with pediatric patients, and possess a strong understanding of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one patient care in an in-home setting
- Administer medications and treatments
- Maintain accurate records of home visits, time with patient, services performed
- Monitor and assess patient condition
- Manage pain effectively and provide patient care with all daily living activities
- Utilize Durable Medical Equipment (DME) proficiently
- Assist with patient lifts and transfers as needed
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, but not required
Nurse Experience:
- Georgia RN License or eNLC Compact License
- New grads welcome
- Experience working with children is preferred, but not required
- All specialties may apply
