What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Courier position at Vital Delivery Solutions?
Vital Delivery Solutions is seeking Medical Couriers and Delivery Drivers to join our team! We offer a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Hourly wages vary based on the type of work and shifts selected. We are currently hiring full-time drivers with flexible scheduling availability.
The ideal candidate will be driven, a team player, enthusiastic, as well as possess an attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to learn quickly. Prior experience is helpful, but not required. All required training will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Load and unload supplies between your company vehicle and client locations.
- Follow a daily route schedule.
- Use our company smart phone to complete the daily route manifest electronically.
- Employees will scan packages.
- Complete new hire orientation and all related mandatory training.
- Be physically able to walk and push a hand truck or cart while making deliveries.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Comfortable with using a smart phone.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to work independently.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have clean criminal history.
- Must provide proof of valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
