You will work independently, collaborating with business users and IT team members to configure, design, and deliver solutions that automate sales processes and enhance the execution of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business functions such as Field Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Sales Management, Product Management, Legal, and Finance to understand ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and project requirements.
- Document the implementation plan, technical designs, and solutions for each project.
- Identify best practices related to the use of tools both internally and externally, providing recommendations to management for incorporating them into existing tool functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends in CRM, including new enhancements and capabilities.
- Design and develop configurations and custom applications in a sandbox environment.
- Enhance commerce pricing/approval functions to support the evolving global business needs.
- Build and deliver reporting metrics for the business.
- Design, implement, and support document output from CPQ to ensure it meets all business and legal rules.
- Support and enhance CPQ integration with Salesforce CRM and Oracle ERP systems.
- Perform testing and validate the integrity of changes before they are moved into production.
- Ensure that systems work optimally together in a seamless fashion.
- Keep CPQ versions upgraded to the most appropriate version for the business.
- Incorporate industry-standard user interface design that is intuitive, simple, and easy to use.
- Design data integrity protocols to prevent errors in data entry and ensure overall data quality.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in healthcare, business, computer science, education, or a relevant field.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in CRM and Q2C processes.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with cloud applications.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java and other scripting languages. BML (BigMachines) experience is desirable.
- Deep understanding of CRM and Quote to Cash (Q2C) processes.
- Strong experience with Salesforce.com CRM and cloud applications like BigMachines.
- Production and sandbox design and development experience with Salesforce and other related applications.
- Proven ability to work functionally across organizations to ensure global alignment on changes in Salesforce and supporting systems.
- Strong understanding of system infrastructure and master data models. Experienced in migrating design and data elements from sandbox to production.
- Experience implementing WebService SOAP calls in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) to handle complex requirements.
- Proven track record in leading complex systems projects and managing project groups.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- A certificate in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Salesforce.com, BigMachines, or related fields is a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Siebel, SalesLogix, Oracle CPQ (Big Machines), Eloqua, Xactly Incent, Calidus, or Varicent is a plus.
