Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current press processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement new processes aimed at increasing efficiency.
  • Optimize existing manufacturing processes to reduce waste.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate the effectiveness of process changes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to pressing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute process enhancements.
  • Identify and resolve process-related issues using root cause analysis.
  • Monitor production metrics and prepare performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in press operations.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality.
  • Train production staff on best practices and new procedures.
  • Support the introduction of new equipment and technologies.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of press equipment performance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of press machinery.
  • Facilitate workshops and process improvement sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of press operations and technologies.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for process design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards.
  • Willingness to travel for project-related needs.
