Job Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications and services, particularly within Azure DevOps and GitHub environments. This role includes providing support, troubleshooting, and documentation for the applications used by end users, as well as collaborating with the OCC Chief Technology Officer to track resources, activity, and billing for maintenance and enhancements. The candidate must have a strong understanding of software development, cloud services, and systems integration, with the ability to meet the needs of the organization’s users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation:
- Provide user manual standard documentation.
- Prepare administrative management documentation.
- Maintain periodic maintenance documentation.
- Document emergency business processes for application restart.
- Provide and regularly update system architecture diagrams.
- Maintain and update business process diagrams.
- Document all activities in Azure DevOps, ensuring differentiation between Maintenance and Enhancements, and follow OCC Chief Technology Officer’s direction for resource tracking and billing.
- Collaborate with OCC to establish reporting guidelines for activity tracking.
Maintenance Tasks:
- Review and manage backlog items in Azure DevOps.
- Develop and add code to GitHub repositories.
- Address and resolve help desk tickets assigned through Oklahoma Management and Enterprise Services (OMES).
Enhancement Tasks:
- Maintain and create application connection processes.
- Report to and prioritize work based on input from the OCC Chief Technology Officer, ensuring the needs of OCC customers are met for both maintenance and enhancements related to applications, services, and integrated systems.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficient in C#, TypeScript, Angular Scripting, .NET Core, GitHub, DevOps, and Laserfiche Integration.
Experience working with Azure Cloud Services.
Experience:
Proven experience in enterprise IT organizations with a documented history of successful project execution.
Demonstrated experience in application development, maintenance, and enhancement processes.
Ability to manage backlog items and work with DevOps tools to support agile workflows.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills to research application errors and develop appropriate solutions or workarounds to maintain business continuity.
Training Support:
Ability to provide training and support to the user community, assisting staff and end users as needed to accomplish daily tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with enterprise-level IT service management and operations.
Experience in multi-vendor environments, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams.
Certifications:
Certifications in Azure, DevOps, or any relevant cloud-based or application development certifications would be a plus.
