The Senior Systems Diagnostics Engineer will support the Systems Engineering team in evaluating design changes and modifications for diagnostics implications, recommending improvements, and developing diagnostic and testability strategies for complex weapons systems. The role involves collaboration with reliability and design engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers, with a focus on enhancing system performance and ensuring supportability designs. The position offers a 9 / 80 schedule, hybrid remote work, and competitive benefits.
Key Responsibilities& &
- Collaborate across functional teams to optimize diagnostics and testability designs using model-based techniques.& &
- Develop diagnostics and troubleshooting strategies, testing, and analysis methods for complex problems.& &
- Interface with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers to integrate diagnostics and testability solutions at the system level.& &
- Provide cost-effective capabilities to detect and isolate faults in systems and equipment.& &
- Conduct design reviews and support verification and validation activities during fabrication, assembly, and test.& &
- Prepare presentation materials for senior management and internal / external customers.& &
- Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and costs to ensure successful execution.& &
