Nursing Supervisor Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated & Compassionate Nursing Supervisor to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the highest quality of patient care at their residents. The ideal candidate will have a Care and infection control practices, critical in maintaining State And federal healthcare regulations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct New Patient Intake Assessment and periodic Supervisory Visits
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to established protocols for medication administration and infection control.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary to enhance quality of care.
- Conduct training sessions on medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in patient management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with HIPAA Regulations.
- Facilitate communication between nursing staff, patients, and families regarding treatment plans and health education.
Requirements
- Current RN - Registered Nurse license.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care practices, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and physiology.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
