What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP position at Vital HealthCare Solutions?
Vital Healthcare Solutions is seeking a part time nurse practitioner to provide behavioral health medication management to residents in a long term care environment. This position would be 2 days a week (one day in Tyrone, one day in Altoona) with a flexible schedule.

Through patient assessments and collaboration with interdisciplinary team, our Advanced Practitioners diagnose a broad range of mental health disorders, develop and implement treatment plans and follow up. Responsibilities include: Evaluation of patients with mental, emotional or behavioral disorders, development of treatment recommendations for physicians to administer psychotherapeutic treatments and medications, consult with facility staff on patient centered behavioral interventions, provide timely and appropriate communication with agencies, referring physicians, patients and families. Flexible work schedule. NO ON-CALL DUTIES.
