**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join Vital Materials, a dynamic and growing company with rotating locations in Bowling Green, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products within our warehouses, with a flexible schedule accommodating the rotational nature of the positions.
**Responsibilities:**
**Inventory Management:**
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
- Accurately update inventory records using computerized systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
**Order Fulfillment:**
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Verify and confirm the accuracy of outgoing shipments.
**Warehouse Organization:**
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
**Equipment Operation:**
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
**Communication:**
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
- Report any issues or concerns related to inventory, orders, or warehouse operations promptly.
**Quality Control:**
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
- Ensure that products are stored and handled in accordance with quality standards.
**Tool Crib:**
- Issues tools and equipment to personnel and keeps records of items issued, returned manually or using computer.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment and requisitions stock to replace inventory.
- Mark and identifies all equipment and parts and stores them in specific locations.
- Work with “Buyer” to track, and order spare parts for equipment.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
