Shift Hours: Mon – Thurs 6:00am – 4:30pm

Position Purpose: The Quality Technician assists/supports the Quality Engineer by providing production expertise to resolve Quality issues within the production operation. They ensure that all product meets the customers requirements at each stage of its manufacturing process, carrying out relevant testing and where necessary take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues.
Summary of Duties:
Quality System -
- Understand and Follow Work Instructions
- Conduct routine quality inspections throughout the production or manufacturing process, including
- in-process and final inspections
- Operate precision measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures
- Perform Equipment Calibrations
- Maintain Documentation of all Inspections and Potential Issues - Inform Supervisor
- Assist with Problem Resolution
- Provide Assistance with the MRB Process
- Suggest Process Improvements
- Ensure Compliance and Assist with Adherence to the Quality Management System
Continuous Improvement (CI) -
- Participate in the CI System
- Provide appropriate information to support CI activities
Safety -
- Keep work areas clean
- Use Company 5S standards
- Understand Basic Safety Procedures
Qualifications/Experience:
Required -
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Basic Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Products)
Desired -
- Associate degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred
- Ability to Read Technical Drawings
- Delmiaworks (IQMS) ERP System Experience
