We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Electrician Dispatcher to coordinate daily service schedules, ensure efficient job assignments, and provide excellent communication between customers, electricians, and the operations team. This role requires the ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service. Must have dispatch experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Coordination:
- Receive, prioritize, and schedule service requests from customers.
- Assign electricians to jobs based on location, expertise, and urgency.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate emergencies or changes in priorities.
Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for electricians in the field, providing updates, job details, and instructions.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers regarding service requests, scheduling, and follow-ups.
Administrative Tasks:
- Input and update service orders in the company’s scheduling and dispatch software.
- Track job progress and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, customer interactions, and job statuses.
Problem Solving:
- Address scheduling conflicts, delays, and emergency service requests effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any customer or team concerns related to dispatch operations.
Team Support:
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize workforce utilization.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience as a dispatch coordinator for a service company
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in dispatching or a related field is a plus.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with electrical services, terminology, and trade practices is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with dispatch and scheduling software or tools (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jobber, or similar).
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based or remote, depending on company policy.
- Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings for emergency calls.
