Duties
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Renovate existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged masonry.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Interpret schematics and architectural drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Perform tile laying as needed for various projects.
- Assist with frame carpentry and drywall installation when required.
- Conduct construction estimating to assess material needs and project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in masonry work, including brick laying and tile installation.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong skills in renovation techniques for both residential and commercial properties.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry and drywall installation is a plus.
