VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Physician or Endocrinologist to provide wellness and diabetes management programs to a private client in Lexington, VA area. The Physician will provide onsite wellness checkups and identify and work directly with pre-diabetic or early-stage diabetes patients on a multi-week program to help improve their wellness and lifestyle. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Physician or Endocrinologist to provide wellness and diabetes management programs to a private client in Lexington, VA area. The Physician will provide onsite wellness checkups and identify and work directly with pre-diabetic or early-stage diabetes patients on a multi-week program to help improve their wellness and lifestyle. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide general wellness checkups.
- Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
- Provide diabetes management program to patients based on our program guideline.
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns especially around diabetes.
- Educate patients around healthy eating and lifestyle.
- Educate patients around glucose monitoring.
- MD or DO degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
- Must have current VA license. Other state license will be a plus.
- Background in internal medicine, family practice, preventive care and endocrinology preferred.
- Experience with diabetes management.
- Preventive medicine oriented.
- Patient education driven.
- Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to commute to Lexington VA based on above schedule.

Salary : $140 - $180
